With over a decade of retail experience, many trips to Paris with her mother, a passion for designing tablescapes, and a keen eye for color, texture, and style, Barika is able to bring the feel and look of Paris and Europe to the store. When at Pier 1 imports, where she was Assistant Store Manager and Visual Merchandiser, Barika assisted buyers for movies and T.V. shows, as well as repeat customers who became personal clients as she helped them decorate their homes.
Joyce—Francophile and vintage treasure lover
Joyce lived in France and Holland for over seven years. Co-owner of two former Vancouver restaurants with family members (Café Madeleine and Mata Hari), Joyce and her partners brought espressos and lattes to the west side at a time when they were relatively unknown outside of Commercial drive. Her love of linen, French culture and vintage treasures can be seen at their store.
